2022 has been a wild adventure in the fashion world. There’s been many trends that have resurfaced from the past decade this year, including the infamous “model ‘off-duty’ street style”. Typically, this so-called street fashion would generally be seen out in the famous cities of Los Angeles and especially New York. Now, of course we have our generation’s biggest fashion models to thank for displaying this style on these streets, but what does the look consist of? To put it quite frankly the name of this style is very fitting, as it’s precisely what an A-list model is wearing on his or her off-duty stroll through the streets of New York. An example would be a simple ensemble of jeans, a basic black or white t-shirt, a denim or leather coat, boots or sneakers, sunglasses, and of course, the no makeup look these models have mastered. It’s needless to say fashion models look great all the time, so they’re certainly going to look alluring in their paparazzi pictures on the way to the gym or go grab coffee. However a lot of their audience which are mostly young fashion enthusiasts can agree that it’s the effortless appearance that makes their ensembles so appealing.
