Pop culture icon Taylor Swift released tickets for her upcoming tour November 15th, 2022, and she left many dedicated fans heartbroken after the sale crashed all together. According to the ticketmaster website, the demand for tickets was historical this year and was unable to be contained.
Many fans are angry due to the hardships they have already experienced, such as becoming a verified fan and qualifying for presale. However, even the fans who were able to get far enough to the presale faced many struggles. Angry fans expressed their frustration on social media. Fans expressed that they were “beyond heartbroken” and “unable to process” the system due to the lack of customer service and wasting of customer time. People all over the country set aside work and school to attempt for tickets, but were left empty handed.
However, Swift has added many more dates than she had originally booked, and aims to spread her concert all across the country. She is set to open her tour on Friday, March 17th of 2022 in State Farm Stadium of Arizona. Swift is then planned to perform 52 shows before closing in SoFi Stadium of Los Angeles on Wednesday August 9 of 2023.
