Halloween is a time for everyone to dress up however they please, play tricks on their friends and and get plenty of candy. Everyone, including celebrities. On the costume front, many celebrities outdid themselves with their costumes, Mark Ruffalo participated in an annual trick and Ryan Reynolds gave us all a treat.
Neil Patrick Harris posted a picture of his family dressed as the cast of “Star Wars” on his Instagram. Patrick Harris was Obi-Wan Kenobi, his husband David Burtka was Han Solo, and their twins Harper and Gideon were dressed as Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker respectively. They, by far, out did themselves from years past where they dressed as Batman and some favored Gotham villains.
Heidi Klum once again went above and beyond with her Halloween Costume, dressing as Jessica Rabbit from the beloved movie, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” Between the makeup, wig, and actual prosthetics to make her look the part, Klum’s costume was spot on.
Lastly, Taylor Swift ended her 1989 tour on Halloween night in a surprising way. The singer came onstage and sang “Let it Go” from “Frozen” alongside none other than Idina Menzel, who sang the song in the original movie soundtrack. The kicker? Both Swift and Menzel were dressed as characters from the movie, Olaf and Elsa respectively.
For the trick, every year Jimmy Kimmel recruits families all across America to make a video where the parents tell their children they ate all of their Halloween candy. This, obviously, leads to many crazy reactions, along with some sweet ones. However, this year fans got a special treat as Mark Ruffalo, best known for playing the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, made a video as well. Ruffilo told his 10 and 8 year old daughters, along with their friends, that he ate all of their Halloween candy, leading to their attacking the actor. You can see both videos on the Jimmy Kimmel YouTube channel.
Finally, Ryan Reynolds gave all Marvel fans a big treat. Reynolds, dressed as Deadpool and created a team of X-Men. The catch? They’ve all been deaged. The video was a tease for the upcoming “Deadpool” movie, set to be released in February 2016, in which Reynolds is starring as the beloved “merch-with-a-mouth.”
